Guest house Mitaki

Super clean, the host was exceptionally friendly and forthcoming. Other guests were also very friendly

A bit far outside of the city with 10min uphill from the trainstation and no restaurants / combinis nearby

Spotlessly clean, with traditional charm. This is met with really comfortable rooms. The sleeping spaces are cosy. All details are well thought out. The spaces are cared for a welcoming. We loved the beautiful garden, and the peaceful suburban location, 10mins from the city centre. The host is so kind abd helpful. Staying here has been a trip highlight!

La guesthouse est une très belle maison ancienne avec un magnifique jardin (côté salon de thé). Les chambres sont bien aménagées avec un côté moderne très sympa, et des matelas confortables. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et aidants. Le quartier est vraiment charmant, calme, et au bout de la rue il y a un magnifique temple que vous ne devez pas manquer !

J'étais au courant donc pas de problème pour moi mais il y a un peu de marche en montée depuis la gare de Mitaki, et il n'y a pas de commerces autour de la guesthouse. Mais le centre-ville ou le quartier plus proche de Yokogawa ne sont pas très loin...

Wonderful experience! The house is sooo charming with traditional decor and gardens around. There were multiple spaces to relax in, including a full kitchen. Also, there were free access to washer and dryer, as well as (small) towels. The hostess was very kind and helpful. Lastly, the guesthouse is located in a quiet neighborhood ideal for morning walks at the two local temples but still with good connections by bus and train. I wish that I had stayed longer!

There's nothing to not like

Wonderful calm place right next to Mitaki temple, where the hills start. Beautiful garden, gracious host, spacious rooms, and friendly people - and a footbath in the courtyard. Good place to hang out and relax a bit outside of central Hiroshima.
