The Oceanfront Inn

The view is amazing and the balcony so cute. Bathroom was good too.

Bed wasn't very comfy and the pillows were too soft (just my preference) but other than that, the room was nice. The balcony was cool but wish there was a screen or something, we had to leave the door open all night cus we couldn't get the AC on and with the door shut it was a bit warm. But still an amazing experience.

Easier beach access would be nice, ie steps built down to the beach.

Listened to the waves crash & watched sea lions from our balcony

Awesome beachfront property with kind staff. There is a cafe built into the Inn. Short walk to the park with beach access. Working WiFi and a tv for entertainment.

Loved the location and the size of the room

It was a little outdated and could use an update

Quiet and gorgeous view

Everything was great

First off, I don't believe the drive (about an hour thru a very steep & curvy road) is worth it. The beach, directly out front is un-swimmable due to rip tides. The sea lions are nice to look at, but again, not worth the drive. The place itself is contactless. So make sure you have an email or text telling you your room number and door code before you arrive as cell service is terrible. The wifi in the facility is terrible as well. Constantly in/out and when connected very slow. The blinds to keep out the sun over the sliding glass door are missing a number of the slats, so expect sunlight to come in. There's also a window with no cover which we had to stuff with pillows as that light crosses your face when in bed. No staff on sight to help, though they did reply to texts to indicate they use Starlink and that's why the internet goes out so often as it's a cloudy cove. For the price, definitely not worth it IMO. But you are beachfront (to view, not swim) and there is enough parking. Room is dated and seen better days but not terrible, just floor pieces broken and such. Again, a little jaded by the price and the terrible drive to get to this cove.

Sliding door blinds did not block out light. The flooring is old and broken in places. The wifi was unusable due to connection going in/out and when connected it was very slow.

Location, ocean view, pet friendly

Scruffy and run down. The blinds in the room were missing the wand that closes or opens the blinds, when I asked (through a ring doorbell- no management is present on site) for a replacement as I couldn’t close the blinds, she told me to just yank on the strings. I did not, as I didn’t want to break them, I just flipped them manually as much as I could but they were still open. The front door of the room was covered in bird poop, don’t think it had been cleaned in a long time. I only stayed one night so it was fine and a good value, but despite the amazing views, I wouldn’t stay there again.
