Very clean. Location is quite convenient and in a very quiet neighborhood. There is a good and cheap sentō right by the hostel. The common area is nice. The bathroom is really good.

The dormitories are not so good : the door is noisy, the beds are not very practical, there is no secure space that you can lock, and instead of sheets only a blanket is provided. Towel is not provided either. No possibility of breakfast. The guy in charge is really kind but his English is not very good. The hostel was very quiet, I felt like I was by myself a lot of the time. Maybe I was just unlucky because a lot of people checked in the last day I was there.

The mattres was comfortable and the staff was nice . The location close to the station as well .

The lack of cleanliness. The kitchen was dirty and the room and the share space had dust. This should be improved.

Had such a good time while I was there. :) Chats and exchanges with staff and hosts will be dearly remembered. Everyone is very helpful and kind. Amenities are kept very clean and tidy. The location in Kyoto is very peaceful and handy to get back to Kyoto Station. Definitely recommend it!

Everything was great, and the staff was really kind and helpful trying to make every detail as comfortable and great as possible. The bed was really comfortable and the service was really excellent.

I would only change the washing machine to another place or ask for a cheaper price of that room, as you don’t expect to have people entering and going out of the room every time they’re washing clothes. Besides that everything was great!

It’s not that I’m dissatisfied, but the sign in the restroom had a “cute” translation — understandable, but the grammar was a bit odd. Maybe it could use a little revision.
