The location is ideal, with a bus stop conveniently situated right in front of the house, making it easy to explore the city. The beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options to start the day right. What truly sets this place apart are the owners—they are incredibly hospitable and attentive, going above and beyond to make the stay memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy and convenient place to stay!

We arrived early but the room was already ready for us which was a great surprise. James took the time to explain everything about the electric shower, the lock of the door in the room etc and we had a nice chat also. The room was huge, with a nice view on the street, with everything we could possibly need, bed was super comfortable we slept so deeply the whole weekend, breakfast was fabulous, we could have haggis the 3 days we were there, the first day Dora came to have a nice long chat with us, I could use the only word in Quechua that I remember as she is from Cusco, Peru :) They are such a lovely couple! We travelled the whole weekend by Tram from the city centre to the Walk of the Foot, which is a 10 min walk from the house. Very handy. We loved our stay with Dora and James and will try to stay with them again on our next visit! Thank you so much for everything !

Cada detalle está cuidado de manera milimétrica! James y Dora son gente muy cordial y cercana, hacen, literalmente, que te sientas como en casa. Es verdad que tienes que coger bus para llegar desde el centro, pero la parada está en la misma puerta y hay muy buena combinación hacia los diferentes puntos de la ciudad. Sin duda, volveré.

The owners were fantastic and everything was just perfect. You couldn't ask for a better place to stay.

Breakfast was delicious and James was very accommodating of any requests. Very glad we booked this last minute!

Only downside is the location is a little bit outside of Edinburgh city, but on the plus side, the bus stop is right outside the accommodation and super easy to navigate!

I proprietari sono stati gentilissimi, accoglienti e sempre disponibili. Siamo stati davvero felici di aver scoperto questo posto e senz'altro lo sceglieremo ancora se dovessimo far ritorno a Edimburgo. Menzione d'onore alla colazione, specialmente, quella tipica scozzese, da provare almeno una volta. In camera troverete anche un adattatore universale per le prese (compresa quella europea), non è un dettaglio scontato. La posizione non è centralissima ma troverete la fermata del bus appena si esce dalla struttura, che in pochi minuti vi porterà in centro. Non esitate a prenotare, ne varrà la pena.

My room was very cosy, practical and offered everything I needed. In addition, I slept really well and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. And: I loved the varied breakfast selection:-) Thank you!
