Lovely appartment, very confortable, with a cute garden and well located in the center yet in a quiet district.

The location was perfect, very close to Lucca shops, restaurants, the infamous wall and a short walk to the nearest cafe for early morning breakfast, 10-15 min easy walk to the train station. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was nice and strong. The rooms are a good size and the accommodation has all that you need for a short stay.

At night the bedrooms were hot/stuffy but on leaving we saw the owner installing new aircon units so the next visitor will experience a much better stay. The washing machine is quite dated but it works fine. The ventilation in the bathroom isnt the best if you have a tummy upset and the fridge wasn't all that clean when we arrived.

Beautiful apartment with authentic Italian ambiance. Comfy beds and kind host. Our stay was only one night. Location was great for getting to train station easily while still being in historic city.

The air conditioning was not working during our stay, so check before you book. But we spent a bit more time in the lovely courtyard to keep cool.

Beautiful house! Clean, comfortable and so wonderfully decorated. Dream Tuscan stay in Lucca! Everything you need in terms of kitchen, bathroom and bedding, short walk to train and all the shops. Highly recommend!

Salle de bain superbe, lits confortables

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment in Lucca in mid-April, where we stayed for 8 days. The apartment is located in a charming historic building and has a truly perfect location – both in relation to the center of Lucca and close to Lucca Centrale train station. This made it very easy to get around, both within the city and on day trips to other interesting towns in the area. The neighborhood is very quiet, which provided a peaceful and relaxing base after long days of exploring. The bed was very comfortable and ensured a good night’s sleep throughout our stay. The apartment also has a very well-equipped kitchen. There is also a lovely garden with tables and chairs, which we used a lot – a perfect place to enjoy morning coffee or relax in the evening. The Wi-Fi worked flawlessly throughout our stay, making it easy to plan trips and stay in touch with family and friends. What truly made a deep impression on us, however, was the owner Mirko. During our stay, we experienced a sudden and serious situation when my brother suffered a blood clot in the brain. Mirko acted with great determination and care, immediately called an ambulance, and followed up with genuine kindness and support, which we are deeply grateful for. His help meant an enormous amount to us in a very difficult moment. All in all, a place we can warmly recommend – both for the beautiful apartment, the perfect location, the well-equipped kitchen, and not least the incredible human warmth of the host.

ACQUA DELLA DOCCIA FREDDA AL MATTINO

Location was great in a quiet street, easily accessible. Well equipped for our needs. Nice linens and comfortable beds. We were able to walk all of the city.

The couch in the living was rather uncomfortable. It looked lovely but we ended up sitting at the dining table.
