GBFantastic location as we were going to De La Warr Pavilion that evening. Very comfortable beds. The owner had left tea, coffee, milk and biscuits which was kind.
No seperate lounge - which we were aware of. Fine for one night though and you could sit in a bedroom or the kitchen.

- sadly, the property is not clean and is "tired" (Sad to see that this feedback has been raised previously) Unfortunately, you also have to factor in parking costs at just over £7 per day....once you have found a spot ! Therefore ok for 1 night

Strange smell in bathroom
GBThe location was excellent, just a minute from the promenade. The property had a safe garden for our dog to sniff around. The inside layout was great: 2 good-size bedrooms and a large kitchen with a decent table for meals or playing games. We liked the selection of games and books available too. The bathroom was a good size and had a decent shower, although it was extremely slippery. Although there was no lounge as such this wasn't a problem as there was a long settee where we could all sit to watch the huge TV. We really appreciated the excellent heaters on the chilly evenings.
The parking was an issue. It is advertised as having parking outside, which is true, but it didn't say that you need a parking permit or your stay is limited to 2 hours. You can park ok between 6pm and 8am. The trouble is that there is rarely a space. We would gladly have paid extra to have a permit included in the rent. All the local streets are permit controlled so the nearest pay to park is up near the De La Warr pavilion, unless you have a blue badge. It's not far to walk but annoying if you are dragging a suitcase. Apart from that it's a great property!

GBRight next to the beach and close to local restaurants. The host was also quick to reply and provided all information needed for the trip.
Unfortunately there were a number of cleaning issues. Mainly, the drains were blocked and the bathroom smelt of concentrated urine. This didn’t fade despite leaving the fan on and window open and we got whiffs throughout the property. The bathroom also suffered from mould as well as parts of the kitchen. The house in general was a little worse for wear with loose floorboards, rising damp and peeling paint. Some of the towels and sheets were also dirty. The host responded positively so hopefully these will be rectified as overall it’s a very pretty and convenient property.
