"Good value, but a bit cramped."

The room was a lot smaller than I had expected, but was comfortable enough. The location as great in the centre of town and handy for buses. It wa right opposite a large car park and may have had its own parking, but I arrived by train so didn't need it.

Oddly, there was no wardrobe, nor a coat rack or even a hook to hang my clothes on. Since I was in Barrow for a funeral, it made getting dressed a bit of a balancing act. The breakfasts were fine, and served in a very pleasant room overlooking the back of the Town Hall. Staff were helpful and polite, but the cutlery was the thinnest, flattest flatware I have ever used.

The hotel was very convenient,onsite parking. Staff were friendly and hard working,didn't seem to be enough of them!

The bed was double,would have preferred a king size. It was very noisy out side until the early hours. No air con and a very warm night

Absolutely amazing staff. Everyone was cheerful and attentive. Great rooms. Really clean and fresh. Breakfast superb
