The Opposite Place

Location was nearby to jonker streets.

This place is not worth the money, things are way to old in the name vintage, dusty full of mosquitoes the widows was rusty and most importantly there is no on side parking I had to pay 100 ringgit parking fee 100 meters away from the locations plus there no mention on staircase as I am diabetic patients I find it hustling claiming up the staircase which was so narrow! Way to expensive for a rusty, dusty and hustling place ! To add on more there is no onside receptionist we have to pass through an café which apparently run by other owner and we have open and lock the doors by ourselves! I also got an eye infection the very first night of my stay which I believe was an insect bite, totally not worth the price plus the windows are too open anyone can easily clamp up and they only give mosquitoe coil which the old fashion style! Probably would never repeat my stay!

I had a wonderful 3-day, 2-night stay at Opposite Place in Melaka. The setting and decorations are beautiful, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. I especially loved the lovely bathtub! The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, allowing me to check in early, and the kakak provided very clear instructions throughout my stay. Despite being close to the roadside, the place was surprisingly peaceful and quiet. The location is excellent, with Jonker Street just a short walk away. Overall, it offers great value for the price, and I truly enjoyed my stay. Highly recommended!

The Opposite Place was an exceptional place to stay in Melaka. We had the beautifully designed and cosy ground floor bedroom, which really was lovely to come home to every night. Winnie the manager was a wonderful person and does a fabulous job of running the place. Located in the old town, we highly recommend staying here to experience the culture and cuteness of Melaka.
