Staff was very nice

Had to ask for toiletpaper, no swimming towel, no coffee station, floor in shower and toilet not stable. Lots of mosquitos and bugs biting causing itch in bed.

Staff were all welcoming and very helpful. The villa was very clean, and food was very nice too.

The only improvement would have to be the pool, it was a little dirty, other than that was a very lovely stay and would book again as it’s close to the airport and also a short distance from Seminyak dinner spots.

The staff were very attentive and wanted to help with anything they could. The location was great with a variety of restaurants in the street less than 5 minutes walk away. There were numerous warungs nearby - we ate at one of them one night and had satay rice and drinks for two people for under $10AUD total. We also went to the more expensive restaurants - The Sardine is very popular, the food was good but overpriced in my opinion. The Grumpy Butcher was expensive to eat at (more like Sydney prices) but the food was excellent and the staff were attentive. The Aliya Spa nearby offering 90 minute massages for $25AUD was fantastic, we went there every second day! The bed was comfortable and housekeeping worked around our schedule (if we wanted to lounge around in the morning, they were happy to come by in the afternoon) Breakfast arrived close to on-time which we were able to book the night beforehand. The laundromat in the estate was cheap, fast, and all work was done well. The attached restaurant/bar was never overly busy but the food was good (we ate there twice) and the drinks were cheap. A $2.00 AUD cab ride took us to nearby shopping.

The Booking.com site advertised that the rooms had a safety deposit box, this wasn't the case. It was made the more worrying that the villa couldn't be secured with the locks for the main sliding doors (the door latched but a small amount of pressure caused the latch to fail.) Frustratingly we locked the sliding doors and went out for the day but housekeeping seemingly didn't have a key for the sliding door (and understandably not wanting to force the lock at all) so they couldn't get in to do our housekeeping. Our pool wasn't crystal clear when we arrived, so we asked for some extra attention to be made cleaning the pool. When we returned that afternoon, we could see the pool had been scrubbed but the water was still a bit murky. We swam in the pool but didn't put our head in the water, expecting that running the filter overnight would sort it out completely. Regrettably it never did get perfectly clean. Owning our own pool at home we know it can be a struggle to maintain a clean pool but it seemed to us that the staff didn't quite understand how the equipment worked, and I suspect didn't understand the importance of Ph, Alkalinity, Chlorination and filtration. In fact, we started to suspect the filter wasn't drawing from the skimmer box. We ended up dangling our feet in the water only for the rest of our stay. The "upstairs" area wasn't of any use to us, but we went up to check it out. It seems other guests equally found it of no use as the area was dusty and the table looked like it hadn't been cleaned since the previous guest. Breakfast was only available if the restaurant staff were in early enough to suit (e.g. if you wanted an 6:00 AM breakfast because you were going out to the islands for the day and were being picked up at 7:00) they just couldn't do it. It would have been nice if they'd just provided a platter of fruit the night before.

The bed was very comfortable, and place was nicely furnished. Staff was helpful and responsive to our needs. Breakfast was served every morning punctually at our requested time. I find it quite on par with other villas in Bali with much higher rating scores. As for the location, the roads outside can be a bit busy because the Villa is set near the main area of Kerobokan, but that also means that cafes and restaurants are also a short walk away. We enjoyed walking to Livingstone every morning for coffee and pastries. It is definitely not as bad as what the other reviews described. For a Villa with a private pool, it is value for money.

Beautiful property, amazing and friendly staff, close enough to everything that you need.

A bit noisy from work happening outside and general Seminyak hustle and bustle.

Nice private pool, and location was good. Get a scooter easily to canguu. Staff were polite, cleaned room and brought breakfast to Villa as requested.

We were put in a villa right next to construction of other villas. They would start making noise at 7 in the morning and wouldn't finish till 6. While I'm on holiday a sleep in would have been nice. Sounded like they were knocking directly on our walls. Also was very easy for mosquitoes to come through gaps of the door.
