Mountain vibe ella

It was a really nice place with a beautiful view. Although it is a bit further from the city. The host was very friendly and enormously helpful. He gave us many tips and helped with everything. He even makes very good breakfast. Definitely recommend.

Shiraz was the most wonderful host. He went out of his way to help organise our journeys, suggested some amazing trips (elephants and even organised basketball for our son in a nearby town with a local team). His breakfasts were lovely and plentiful - lots of fruit, eggs, Sri Lankan touches. The rooms are clean and confortable and he has great plans to make them prettier. The house stands on top of a hill 10 mn away by tuk tuk from Ella. - which we really appreciated. We had 3 rooms so the whole house. It has nice views and is quiet (apart from the wind which was unusually strong and did make a lot of noise in one of the rooms). We heartily recommend staying with Shiraz. He has only been managing this property for one year and as he gets money to renovate it more and more it will go from strength to strength.

The owner Shiraz was very friendly and respectful. He cooked a wonderful and plenty of breakfast for us. He helped us figure out our day's itinerary, helped us get a bike on rent for a good price and over all treated us a guests in the family. The room was as advertised (small but just what was needed), cleanliness was great and there was a small sit out where the breeze and view was amazing.

Nothing to say. There was a very short climb to the place but again Shiraz and his son helped us with the luggage and everything needed.

Very lovely accommodating host, great views & delicious breakfast. Tranquil & private just on the other side of town which feels a lot more local. We truly enjoyed our stay at mountain vibes!

Just something to be aware of is that the aluminium roof picks up a lot of wind in stormy weather which is super noisy and makes it quite rough to sleep then. Unfortunately the wifi wasn't available during our stay there. Also the price difference between the two rooms just for 'the view' we felt was a bit exaggerated.

We had an excellent experience. The breakfast was delicious, offering a variety of options to start the day right. The host was incredibly helpful and friendly, going out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this guesthouse and would give it a 5 out of 5 rating.

The location has a beautiful view, the rooms are nicely decorated with a lot of shelves and hanging facilities. We also had a little balcony to relax on. Best breakfast ever! We are missing it now!! And the host, Shiraz was very helpful and kind:)

Nice place with beautiful view from the balcony. Situated in a nice area a away from the busy Ella Town. Ella is in wakeble distance or you can get a Tuktuk for a cheap price. The best off all is the host (Shiraz), he is so friendly and helpful and funnyl. He help us to get good prices for Tuktuks, Laundry, Massages and Transport. Further he preperted really good breakfast, with new options every day.

The bathroom is rather basic but this is normal in this price category.

Shiraz is an excellent host. Whatever you need, he is there to help you. The breakfast that was prepared for us our 3 mornings was absolutely fantastic. The property is located in the mountains with a beautiful view and it’s very peaceful

My only issue was that we did find it quite difficult to get to and from the main town. You could walk down which was ok, but PickMe doesn’t work and so the tuktuk drivers charged us quite a lot everytime we needed to come back to the property

Beatifull mountainview, very friendly boss, delicious breakfast, usefull help by planning activities, nice room and original bathroom with colorfull tiles

Walking uphill from Ella is a good excersise
