Mountain vibe ella

I liked everything. The host is super friendly, respectful, sincere and above all helpful. I really liked the room, it was comfortable and you have beautiful views over the mountains. The breakfast was next level, I already read about it in other reviews but it is even better than expected. It was healthy, nutritious and home made. I would recommend this stay to everyone!

Everything was great. Very cleand and well-equiped room. The view was fantastic and breakfast was really delicious. Super friendly and helpful owner on top of that.

Not bad at all, just know you will need a motorbike or Tuktuks to get around!

The location is amazing. Spectacular view on the mountains and to a Buddhist temple. The breakfast was the best we had in Sri Lanka with a mixture of European and Sri Lankan food. The room we stayed was clean and spacious enough. Shiraz is a friendly and helpful host. He organized for us a trip to Udawalawe with drop off in Weligama. We highly recommend staying here :)

No A/C which was fine for us because it gets a bit cooler in the night anyway.

Shiraz was a great host! My friend and I really liked the breakfasts, the ability to rent a moped at the property, and the restaurant basically right across the street from the homestay. The bed was comfortable and the views were wonderful! There was a kettle for hot water, which was nice too.

Mountain Vibe felt like a home away from home, thanks to Shiraz, the wonderful owner. His quick wit, friendly demeanor, and warm hospitality made our stay truly exceptional—he treated us more like family than guests. The rooms are beautifully designed and comfortable, though water pressure can be low, and hot water takes a moment, which is understandable given the mountain location. Shiraz thoughtfully addresses this upfront with his characteristic charm. The highlight of our mornings was the delicious breakfast, featuring fresh fruits and perfectly cooked eggs. If we find ourselves in Ella again, we’ll undoubtedly return to Mountain Vibe. Thank you, Shiraz, for an unforgettable stay!

The amazing view, the great host and the delicious food

The view is amazing! We stayed for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The rooms are also great and the breakfast has a great variety of fruits. Shiraz is very helpful and kind.

First of all the view is incredible. The room is really nice designed and clean,with a comfortable bed still the great view and even a balcony. I felt home right away. And the host ist so friendly and caring and have very good connections. He was completely organised my visit in the national park Udawalawa and even the transport to my further destination. And also gave me a ride at his scooter in the City and back. At least the breakfast was stauning! I'll really recommend to stay there!

I have no complainings!

Shiraz is a Great host and hes done a brilliant job in setting things up from breakfast to checking out.a must visit in ella.
