Mountain vibe ella

I stayed in the downstairs room which was large and bright with big windows and a great view. The bed was comfortable. The excellent breakfast was served on a covered terrace, again with fantastic views across the valley. There were lovely sunsets. It is on top of a hill so a little difficult to access. I had a motorbike so it was easy for me, but if you are relying on tuk-tuks some of them won't go all the way to the top, which leaves you with a short but very steep climb to the accommodation. This would be hard if you have a lot of luggage. Best to contact Shiraz the owner as he can arrange a tuk-tuk to the door. The reward for being on the hill is peace and quiet and a lovely view.

The property is in an amazing location hosted by Shiraz who is super helpful and cooks an awesome breakfast. You’re missing out if you don’t stay here

We were there as a family of four, the kids had a downstairs room, the parents an upstairs room. I loved to watch out if the window or sit on the balcony and just gaze into the georgeous greenery… amazing view. Shiraz the host was very caring, prepared and amazing breakfast, answered our very many questions patiently and organized all the drivers for us. It was a cozy home for three days and we loved it. From there we could easyly make all sorts of trips: hike up Ella‘s Rock, trip to an amazing waterfallpool, teafactory, monastery.

Our stay at this BnB was truly exceptional. Shiraz, the owner, was incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with. He gave us fantastic recommendations for local food spots and activities that really enhanced our experience. The accommodation itself was spotless and perfectly sized for two people. The view from the place was absolutely breathtaking — we could’ve spent hours just soaking it in. The bathroom was very clean, and we appreciated the small touches like the kettle with tea and coffee for a relaxing drink anytime. But the real standout? The breakfast. Honestly, it was better than what we were served at a resort earlier in our trip — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. This was easily one of the best experiences we had in Sri Lanka, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

We had such a good stay at mountain vibe. Amazing views and Shiraz is a great host. He helped us to find a sarong and saree for a wedding and gave us a great tip (hint: not in Ella 🤣) Amazing sunsets and close enough to Ella to get there easily but no crazy party noises

Very beautiful view, delicious break fast. The owner was very kind and helpful. Photoes in Booking maybe took earlier as rooms seems better in them.
