Mayai Ocean Resort

It’s a beautiful small hotel with nice amenities like multiple pools and the restaurant (food was amazing) directly at the beach. Everything looks new and like in the pictures. There were no insects in the room or on the property due to spraying. The AC was working great. Breakfast was delicious and they have proper cappuccino. Davis was an amazing host and very attentive to our needs :)

The hotel was hard to find on google maps and there is no proper road leading to it (Bwejuu is not touristic and there is nothing to walk to next to the hotel, at night you should always take a taxi). Some of the staff members were newer and need more training. On the last day we had a little inconvenience, just when we wanted to shower before our check out the power went off and so did the water. Unfortunately is was not back in time, of course this can happen though.

The perfect location and the full package.... room, restaurant/bar, pool, spa, beachside, trips/transfers Plenty loungers around the pool/beachside restaurant, plenty shade available too. Rooms have air conditioning and fans, water, mosquito nets. Bathroom facilities are good, beds comfy. Private patios/terrace Staff friendly and helpful. Ambience is so chilled! Hakuna Matata Good food, amazing views Thank you to all who made my stay so relaxing

The downstairs rooms are more comfortable than upstairs, softer beds. Good pool and ocean view.

There is hardly any space in the room to hang your clothes. The AC was not working and no hot water in one of the rooms. Make sure you check everything before settling in. Restaurant ok, not great.

Service was outstanding. Breakfast was very generous. Staff was very attentive to our requests. Overall resort went well beyond the norm to ensure joyful stay!
