Stunning apartment, always so clean, daily express cleaning done.

Quite noisy in the centre of Umhlanga village right through the night

Upon our arrival, the apartment was dirty I had to leave and make alternative plans and book the hotel next door - The room was not clean, unhygenic, and had a bad smell, walls were broken, balcony dirty, DISGUSTING GRIME IN THE SHOWER, DOOR LOCK BROKEN, FLOORS DIRTY AND HAD HAIR, The Coffe Table was dirty and overall the service from this host was unacceptable, I was not provided with the services mentioned to me on the phone and they ensured me that the place was clean. The cleaning lady did not come in on the 2nd day as mentioned, They added me to Whatsapp and I reported the following 1. Your kitchen counter tops were brown and stained - We had to put a sheet over just to keep our groceries on it 2. ⁠Your room shower has grime and dirt in the corners and on the floor - I had to go buy a mat to place so that we could stand in the shower without feeling like we would get bacteria in our feet 3. ⁠The bathroom had and has a stench 4. ⁠Your chairs outside are rusty beyond control - I know we are at the sea but we can’t even rest our arms on your chairs 5. ⁠Couch has stains and is dirty and dusty , the black chair you have there is very dusty and seems like it has not been cleaned for a long time 6. ⁠I planned to do some office work at your apartment but your WiFi speeds are like 1MBPS and very slow which is not sufficient to work from 7. ⁠Mentioned this earlier that the bed was supposed to be a bigger king bed as confirmed on the phone but we ended up with the small bed where my wife and I cannot have a good nights rest 8. ⁠The lock on the door takes a few tries until it locks or opens its faulty - highly inconvenient if you want to lock up and go Ocean apartments is in an upmarket area - Umhlanga in Radisson Blu - this apartment was not upmarket at all and really was disgusting I will advise all guests to stay away, The company did not offer any REFUND or any booking ammendments I spent a ton of money booking alternative accomodation

The property was ideally located and safe

The cleanliness was not up to standard and the place could have been better maintained The balcony was not swept and the additional blanket had a bit of an odour
