"Overall a great stay, highly recommended"

The room and facilities were very good. Meals were impressive. The surrounding grounds was a delight. The bonus was the presence of a harpist during the evening meals and at night.

The duvet was too thick for summer use

Well impressed with the services rendered. From booking communication till the day I left the resort. Room is clean and comfortable. Enjoyed both the breakfast and the dinner greatly. Would definitely come back again.

"Room 322 has the best view of the Lake and Nishiyama Island."

gorgeous location facing the Toya Lake, away from "downtown" hotels. Beautiful grounds and nice hotel decor. Wish there were two sinks in the bathroom.

The mattress is too hard.

"The hotel is making you feel at home."

We chose the room with open onsen. Staff are friendly and speak good english. You are allowed to wear the slipper prepared by the hotel to walk the entire hotel. Dinner is carefully curated and offered local seasonal delicacies.

Off from Lake Toya, we need to stay upper floor to access lake view if lake view is your concern.
