Appalling stay after not being informed there would be a party and that breakfast had been moved to later than I wanted when I checked in would never have booked here if I had known this was happening - with only 11 rooms there was no getting away from it - zero consideration for anyone staying in the hotel that had gone for a quiet stay and they have since ignored mine and booking.coms messages - even guests finishing up the party at 1.15am were heard stating that they hoped no one was trying to sleep in the hotel ! Well they were, and I left very early and drove home the next day ruined - had the hotel had the decency to respond to the requests I wouldn’t have left this review but they haven’t -

Loved staying here it was a beautiful hotel in a great location with spacious rooms and the staff were really friendly and helpful

Nicely decorated, old but with modern finish. Very comfortable bed and hot shower. Great breakfast choices, freshly made.

For late arrivals in winter, would be a nice touch to have the bedroom radiator on beforehand to heat the room through.

Sunday the restaurant isn’t open so be prepared to go out to eat.
