Aethra Vegan Caves

If you are looking for a place with an incredible view, this is definitely the one! The pool area with its breathtaking view was the absolute highlight for us, but honestly, the whole house was beautiful. There’s also a rooftop terrace where you can enjoy amazing sunsets, a stylish interior, and even a bathroom with two showerheads — something I will definitely miss at home! The host was also incredibly kind and helpful. She was always available whenever we needed anything and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and things to do around the area.

Be prepared for a bit of walking, as the House is located on a hill. However, the stunning view over Pyrgos is absolutely worth it, and we would choose it again anytime!

The location and property were terrific, and the breakfasts were truly gourmet vegan. Pyrgos is a peaceful gem, fun to explore, and very close to the busier towns of Fira and Oía. The owners know a taxi company that were great which I used several times, and communication with the owners was very good

I think they should probably meet arriving guests close to where cars drop them off, as it is hard to know which fork in the path to take and nothing is marked. Also they should warn guests that if you close the door with the key in the room you will be locked out, even if you just unlocked it….

Everything was wonderful, from the cave itself, which felt like staying in a private spa, to the delicious breakfast and restaurants nearby. Giada was super welcoming and helpful, booking us taxis, dinner at a nearby restaurant, and even arranging for us to have an excellent massage right in our room. We didn't want to leave!

Un séjour absolument inoubliable ✨ Cet établissement est un véritable bijou au cœur de Santorin, idéalement situé à proximité des villages, des restaurants et des plus beaux sites de l’île. Chaque instant passé ici est une parenthèse hors du temps. La vue sur le coucher de soleil est tout simplement époustouflante, un spectacle magique dont on ne se lasse jamais. La chambre, la salle de bain et la terrasse sont d’une perfection remarquable : élégance, confort et souci du détail s’y mêlent harmonieusement. Le petit déjeuner, fait maison et délicatement apporté, est un vrai régal, préparé avec soin et générosité. Mais ce qui rend ce séjour encore plus exceptionnel, c’est la gentillesse et l’attention rare de l’hôte. Toujours disponible, bienveillante et de précieux conseils, elle a largement contribué à rendre notre expérience unique et mémorable. Nous repartons le cœur rempli de souvenirs merveilleux et avec une seule envie : revenir. Merci infiniment pour tout 🤍

We had a wonderful stay at this property during our vacation in Greece. The place offers a swimming pool and air conditioning, which were perfect for the hot summer days. The view from the property is stunning — you can see both the mountains and the sea. The vegetarian breakfasts were absolutely delicious — every morning we were excited to see what would be served next! The owners are incredibly kind and helpful. They assisted me in renting a car at a great price, with no deposit required, which was a huge plus. They also recommended some great places to visit and excellent local restaurants. One more highlight was the possibility of booking boat trips to nearby islands, which is a great way to take a break from exploring Santorini itself. All in all, it was an amazing experience and we would love to come back!
