River paradise safari house - cooking class available

Die Unterkunft ist mitten im Dschungel, sehr idyllisch und nah am Nationalpark. Auf dem Gelände sind viele exotische Vögel. Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und gemütlich. Prashan ist sehr herzlich und wir hatten einen tollen Kochkurs mit ihm. Er hat abends sogar extra das Zimmer nach Spinnen für uns abgesucht. Die Safari mit Shan können wir sehr empfehlen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen, pure Entspannung! 😊

Amazing stay. Really good room with two beds, AC and a good bathroom. Prashan really made it special, arranging all our transport, food and activities for reasonable prices. The cooking class was excellent and so was the Kottu and Masala Tea. He organised our safari and the driver was great. A really peaceful location - I could have stayed longer

It's very remote and in nature so expect bugs and you're not close to a shop. But that's what makes it special.

Prachtige rustige locatie. Veel bijzondere vogels gezien, pauwen, paradijsvogel en de toekan. De kookles was ook heel erg leuk. Diner was bij het kampvuur. Erg gezellig!

Struttura basic , da migliorare la manutenzione

We had a wonderful stay near Udawalawe national park. We stayed two nights and Prashan was the kindest host we could imagine. From organizing the safari tour for us to a private cooking class, he did everything to make it the best possible stay for us. We really appreciated the time he took and made us feel more like friends visiting than as guests.

Wir haben uns für die Unterkunft entschieden, da wir am frühen Morgen eine Safari machen wollten. Diese hat uns Prashan organisiert. Er führt das Hotel mit seinem Bruder und besitzt mehrere Fahrzeuge, so dass er Safaris aber auch einen Taxiservice anbietet. Wir haben uns abends für die angebotenen Nudeln entschieden und haben hier zum ersten Mal Buffalo Milk Dessert probiert. Nach der Safari durften wir uns in unserem Zimmer frisch machen. Unser Frühstück wurde uns während der Safari serviert. Bevor wir weiter nach Ella gereist sind.

Alles war gut. In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es allerdings nichts. Daher entweder Proviant mitnehmen oder das im Hotel angebotene essen bestellen. Da es sich mitten im nirgendwo befindet sollte man auf Insekten und Spinnen gefasst sein.

This place is magical, and the owner is extremely kind. We did the cooking class, and I highly recommend it.. the food was amazing. Just be aware that there is nothing around; it’s very isolated, so you’ll mainly spend your time there. Overall, we loved it.

Prashan! Hele leuke accommodatie midden in de jungle. Prashan is echt super aardig en hij heeft voor ons gekookt. Je komt hier even helemaal tot rust
