River paradise safari house - cooking class available

Prashan était super gentil et accueillant. Nous avons fait le cours de cuisine avec lui et c’était délicieux. Le bungalow était très bien. Nous avions réservé une nuit mais sommes restés une deuxième car nous aimions beaucoup l’endroit.

Hors de leur contrôle mais il y avait souvent des pannes de courant, et plusieurs insectes et quelques geckos/araignées dans la chambre, même une grenouille dans la salle de bain. Il faut s’y attendre on est en nature :)

Wer gerne etwas untouristisch reist und etwas von Land und Leuten kennenlernen möchte, der ist hier genau richtig. Wir hatten hier eine unvergesslich schöne Zeit - leider nur für eine Nacht als Zwischenstopp. Prashan ist ein ganz außergewöhnlich hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, hat uns die Safari noch sehr kurzfristig organisiert. Unterkunft liegt super idyllisch am Fluss. Wir haben an der Cooking Class teilgenommen und danach das zubereitete Essen gemeinsam am Lagerfeuer unterm Sternenhimmel aufgegessen. Es war so schön. Das Frühstück hat uns Prashan direkt am Fluss serviert - einfach nur superschön.

Fantastic location with a great set up. Prashan was an amazing host who looked after us incredibly well. The cooking class was brilliant, the food was amazing…and plentiful! A really great experience!!

Beautiful location on the river. Prashan was so accommodating and the cooking class was amazing. Delicious breakfast. We loved our stay here!

Preshan was an absolute delight!! He was attentive, great I. WhatsApp and arranged everything we needed. He was really knowledgeable about the local area and the cooking class was fantastic - there was so much food but it was all delicious! The best food we had in Sri Lanka. We did a safari organised by him and it was seamless and so easy. Absolutely would recommend.

Prashan is a truly exceptional host, so kind and thoughtful. Everything is done with care, from the cozy fire in the evening to the delicious food by the water. It felt like a little paradise and was honestly the highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka. The food was so incredible, we could come back just for that! The place combines with hospitality and the food will truly be missed. The great extra bonus was the safari tour orgazined here, perfect not following all the other jeep, smooth driving for the kid and exceptional wild view. Thank you for everything, Prashan, we can’t wait to come back! 🙏

Loved swimming in the lake (we saw water monitor lizards!) and watching all the birds in the garden. Cooking class was lots of fun and the food was fantastic. Great dinner set-up.

De ligging is fantastisch. Relaxed aan de rivier in een mooi onderhouden natuurlijke tuin. De cooking class is te gek en Prashan is een super host. Het ontbijt overheerlijk, heel idyllisch geserveerd aan de rivier. Tijdens één van de diners werd er een kampvuur aangestoken 🔥 Wij voelden ons direct helemaal thuis en hadden graag een nacht extra geboekt.

Ontzettend aardige behulpzame host prashan. Leuke en lekkere cookingclass. Aanrader. Daar nog gegeten, geweldig. Safari erg mooi
