Choyo Tei

Good location, good breakfast and dinner, good staff, easy to get to, Onsen was a plus! Easy check-in, Shuttle bus to the Ice festival. I requested a fan because it was very hot in the room, and I got it. There is a cute souvenir shop on the second floor & bingo! Great parking. Amazing front desk staff. Lots of elevators, so you never have to wait!

1. There is no A/C in the room, just heating, but you can ask for a fan. 2. On the 5th floor, it took forever for the water in the shower to heat up. 3. It’s not super bad, but you don’t have a key card for your room. They have real keys. So, you must remember to lock your door & there are no extra locks on the door. 4. Karaoke rooms were closed

The location was perfect and the staff at check-in were friendly. The room was quite big and the bed was comfortable. They had a free shuttle bus to the snow festival.

The hotel is old, the carpets in the hallways are discusting and the room needs a proper cleaning. The food was not the best. And we had to pay an extra Yen 500 when we checked out for the onsen. The price for this accommodation was not cheap, it should be included.

Onsen facilities. dinner are excellent. Friendly staffs are so nice.

the location is on the hill, not so convinence for the guests with public transport.

The location is perfect. It is inside the park, within walking distance to the ropeway, little village and some hiking. I like my Japanese-style room. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Dining. The food itself is OK. But the restaurant facility is so outdated, the walls are so dirty that even for me who never paid attention to any stains was too much.

Onsen

Probably because the age of the hotel, stains on the carpet of lots of public areas. Room amenities are showing aged. The buffets of breakfast and dinner for both days served almost identical food. Quality of food are below average.
