Coconut Grove Regency Hotel

The hotel is past its hay days... Alot of renovations need to be done. The furnitures, room doors and other amenities are out of taste and old school. The bricks need maintenance and face-lift which hasn't been done in a while. The amount charged per room for this hotel is not worth it at all.

The doors, furnitures, the general ambience of the hotel and rooms. The restaurant is ugly, with worn out fans that hardly works making the place stuffy.

Very nice position in the North Ridge area. The garden is very nice and the hotel offers good services and meeting areas. The rooms are large and clean. Excellent breakfast even if with a limited choice. The staff is extremely friendly and polite.

The swimming pool would require a little more maintenance. The breakfast offer might be improved offering a wider choice of fruits.

You can find better hotels in Accra whatever your budget is. This one is not it. My friend was meant to extend her stay beyond our booked days, but ended up looking for another hotel.

They do not have stable wifi, and it is frustrating. We should have left the next day. They are clearly aware of the issue but kept saying it would be resolved. I would have preferred honesty. Tip: If you go to a hotel and they give you 4 options to "try" for wifi connections, just know it is not going to be good. The night before we checked out, the guard would not let us in, even after we had told him several times we are guests. It was insane. The driver ended up leaving us at the gate in the dark. We had other minor incidents that are not worth mentioning.

A little uncontrolled noise in the first two nights from guest but all came to normal after they have checked out

Simple, clean and green environment with open space around. Very friendly staff. Good internet. Great breakfast.

I got a room with no hot water, and I was moved to another room the very next day, when I complained. Also, the desk had no direct lighting above, especially for reading.

I loved the that it had a heater, air condition, fridge in each room and a very welcoming and homely atmosphere

The customer service was a bit poor just because one person was attending to different people at once
