Center Parcs Meerdal Limburg-Brabant

Wir waren sehr zu frieden mit der Unterkunft und dem Park, allerdings gibt es von uns keine 5 Sterne, da wir der Meinung waren, dass die Preise vor Ort für Attraktionen und Essen sehr hoch waren

When we arrived at our lodge we noticed how spotlessly clean it was, very neat and tidy. All of the staff who we came into contact with were friendly and always helpful. The swimming pool was our highlight and we spent everyday in there, perfect for kids and adults alike! As much as we liked it here we probably wouldn’t return based on a few things … The “double” bed in our room was really just 2 flimsy single beds pushed together, which were very uncomfortable, also our bedding didn’t fit because of this. The restaurants are extortionate prices, and I do mean extortionate. We ended up eating in the lodge more than we would have liked to. Not only are they really really expensive but the quality isn’t even worth it. Our lodge was supposed to have 2 WC’s but only had one which wasn’t ideal with all of us. Not enough wildlife. We have been to other CP sites where we have seen wildlife outside the lodge daily, we didn’t have this here. It’s a lovely park with lovely staff but we wouldn’t visit again. We will try a different CP next time.

Very warm people working here. I felt very pampered. The activities were great: amazing recreational pool with artificial waves, river rapids. water play space and enormous slide. paddle boats where we could see chicks hatching in duck nests on the waterfront. Pony riding, zip line across a lake to be brought back by a boat, bungy trampoline with a pationate instructor who taught my daughter to make flips. Everything was beautiful and well maintained, they even have deers walking freely outdoors and the little farm was so beautiful and cute. The indoor tropical space was also very well designed with animals that are not in cages. Will definitely go again!

Lovely Centre parcs, not huge but enough for a weekend. The pool was very busy on Sunday, and the restaurants were expensive. Staff are incredible, switching languages was amazing! I know English people can be lazy, so we did receive a few eye roles when saying , we were English and didn’t speak Dutch. Would go back again, really clean, the supermarket was really well stocked.

Had a great time here, the resort offered plenty for the whole family. It felt like a mid size resort compared to others we have visited in Belgium, for example not the biggest swimming pool but not small either, the lake also offers some fun activities which we tried. The footgolf course was also a lot of fun. The accommodation was plenty big enough, clean and provided everything we needed to knock up a few meals. Staff friendly, have always valued that they’re not over sensitive with rules around the pool in Belgium and the Netherlands and just let kids enjoy themselves, i.e can go down the slides how they like and not be shouted at, parents can go down with their kids…great range of food options in the supermarket to take back and cook. Despite having limited availability at the time of booking, the resort didn’t feel crowded. Some lovely towns nearby for those that like to venture out. The park is clean, modern and welcoming. For a smaller center parks it far exceeded our expectations for the services provided. The cottage was perfect, well kept and clean. The aqua mundo was clean and welcoming with lots of activities on offer. We would highly recommend this park and wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. Great value and a memorable holiday. Thank you!

It is advertise as a firework free park but everybody is throwing them inside the park and there is not control at all. We came with the dog and paid a lot of money trying to go away from the explosives of the city and we had a horrible beginning of the year

Just returned from our trip and I wanted to say how much of a fab time we had. We hadn’t been to center parcs in years and took the risk going abroad because it was so much cheaper than the uk and omg it was amazing. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. It’s easily walkable no matter where you are in the parc. The activities were great. Esp the safari car! We did pony riding which was lovely and the high adventure which was great fun. They weren’t strict on times either so we probably got longer than expected but can’t complain about that. The swimming pool is amazing! You could be in there for hours. We literally lost track of time. We didn’t eat much there as it was expensive and we had a car so we took the trip to the nearest town Horst to the Lidl to do the shop (tip you need a parking permit for the car park there but go in the shop opposite and you’ll see the parking permit behind the counter, it was €1:75) we did a few day trips out including toverland down the road, is expensive but it’s a full day out. Our 5&3yr old could go on lots - if you’ve got younger kids and need a pram you can hire one which we wished we’d done sooner as it’s a lot of walking at toverland. We did a few outside pools including a trip to roermand and onto family pool de bosberg up the road. We flew to Eindhoven and hired a car which took 40 mins to the park. Once out of the city the roads are so easy to navigate. Oh and if you’re going in summer bring mosquito repellent!!! All in all we can’t wait to come back or give center parcs abroad another go! *also a lot of places sometimes don’t take cash so don’t bring all your money in one form!
