"Sunshine and activities. What a week!"

8.0

Driving- From the SW of the UK and drove to Le shuttle and drove to Het Meerdal in a one go! It’s easy but exhausting- look at Antwerp traffic if it is Red go the other way! Ended up being 11 hours! Driving over here is easy as flat. Food- Go to Jumbo supermarket (Severnum) in our opinion it is better than Aldi or Lidl. For meats, cheeses and anything Dutch, including better alcohol choices. In Centre parks it is pricey to eat out, we did it twice. Fuego- was a nice experience meals around €30 each and dessert €10 each. We spent most of our time in the Cafe for drinks and nibbles. Shops- Kudos to Centre parks. The main food shop is fab, we went in there daily. You can book a breakfast package and BBQ package but we bought from Jumbo. They have a fresh OJ machine, sausage rolls and Dutch bread, eggs etc. Alcohol section is also okay- note Prosecco lovers, not many around. The toys/gift shop is nice, a little pricey. The clothes shop!!! 50% sale!!! Lovely clothes for all, worth a visit. Market day along the beach is on a Thursday- it was okay; very pricey! Laundry service- a god send! 4kg for €7 worth it! Only on certain days. Ours got picked up and dropped off within hours!! Pop to reception and ask them. Activities- book in advance for pony walk! Like weeks in advance! We didn’t manage to do it. We didn’t do half as much a we should have. You can book on line or by reception there is a machine. All activities are great and they speak English too. Some is bitty, but it is better than my Dutch. We did: Feed the animals and Yoga with the animals. Aqua mundo (daily) it’s fab. The rapids and slide are whizzy! Aqua park (outside inflatable) super fun and exhausting! High ropes- children Bowling Archery Laser battle Mini golf Arcades Quiz night- hilarious as very little English spoken. Forest walks Bird of prey show- it’s amazing very little English spoken. Swan boats- don’t do it unless you want to be bitten!! Outside- Helmond Castle and art gallery for €10 each the castle is interactive with costumes and activities. The art gallery is immersive. Eindhoven zoo- fantastic place to go. We didn’t manage to go to Efteling but it is only 1 hr 20 mins away. Go it’s fantastic, been before. And for €51 each cheaper than UK parks. Accommodation- we stayed in 110. 4 bedrooms: 2 single rooms and 2 doubles. Cot and high hair. Toilet and a bathroom (shower) with a loo. Living space big, but Kitchen is compact and awkward- you get used to it. Dinning table. One thing I will say if you are under 5 ft you will struggle with cooking things in the oven! Garden is a disappointment and full of mole hills! At least that’s what we think the are. We couldn’t use it. The patio with table chairs was nice to sit on. The apartment has an airer, hairdryer and most things to clean apartment with. Oh and a fire place- came on a heat wave! Thinks to bring: Mosquito stuff!!!!! Toilet roll Aircon- they do not do aircon! We brought a fan… the only thing that stopped me sleeping in the car with 34 degrees! Stuff to black out the windows- the Dutch do this. Dishwasher tablets- you get some in a welcome pack. Appliances are good: Toaster Coffee machine Kettle Tassimo machine Car parking- I’m told it is better than the UK We are in zone 1 close to everything. We have parking nearby 1 min walk. However, they go pretty quickly and can find yourself parking a few mins away. Everything is done on green bands, entering the premises and accommodation. We have had the best week. Highly recommend.

"Nice park, but not the House."

4.0

The house we stayed in was very disappointing. It had not been properly cleaned and there were damp marks in several places in the house. After a few days our kids started getting lots of red bumps (not mosquito bites). In their room it smelled very damp and both their bedding and clothes were almost wet with moisture. After talking to our doctor, we found out that they had either been bitten by fleas or bedbugs.

"Not recommended at all"

2.0

I like the place

I did not like that its not air conditioned, not clean, too much insects and spiders made us leave the facility from day 1 and the person in charge did not solve our problem not refund the money for the next 4 nights!! Its way below my expectations!

I booked the deluxe cottage and it was really lovely. Very clean and comfortable. The infra red sauna and jacuzzi bath were a bonus, as was the fresh bread delivered daily as part of the deal. Plenty to keep the kids busy and we had a great time. The only negative aspect was the very low quality and overpriced food offered at the restaurants, and that at the restaurants they don’t provide tap water, not even for kids!

"Ótimo lazer, limpeza a desejar "

8.0

A área de lazer é muito bonita e oferece muitas atividades, tem restaurante para todos os gostos e o mercado é bem completo, porém nos sentimos muito mal dentro do chalé devido à falta de limpeza.
