Delft Village Stay - Experience Based Local Island Stay in Jaffna

Staying at Delft Village Stay was definitely a great experience. Our host was of great help, we were able to rent bicycles and see the baobab and a beautiful sunset. The dinner was especially delicious.

Hospitable staff. Remote location. 5 minute walk to Beach. Tommy, the host organises activities to keep the guests entertained. Good meals.

Information overload. Just need a booklet to explain about the meal arrangement, activities, and ferry time schedule.

We liked the whole concept and the set up they maintain at the village stay. The vibe is all friendly and cozy. Special thanks to the host, Tommy as he was very helpful throughout our stay. Wishing you all the very best!

Een hele gezellige plek met goede faciliteiten

This is probably the best place to stay in all of Sri Lanka. We initially booked two nights, but we extended our stay by another two; if we could, we would have stayed even longer. Tommy is an amazing host who has created a special place that truly brings the right people together. The island is small and has some attractions, but it was this accommodation that made our visit truly special. We loved everything - from our tent to the food, activities, and the place itself. I only wish I could stay in places like this on all my travels. Thank you for everything, Tommy. Kasia & Johan
