The apartment was warm and spacious.

We had a FOUR night booking. 1. Access - no all weather or close access. You are not informed beforehand that chains on a gate need to be unlocked and then locked behind you when driving in and out. Car parking is 30 metres from apartment. Luggage needs to be carried (not wheeled) over 30 metres on a loose gravel, uneven, overgrown, uphill track whilst avoiding mud and horse manure. All of this was annoying and unwelcoming, more so in the rain and cold. See photos. 2. Welcome basket - see photo. "Feel free to use anything from the welcome basket" - two small packets of cereal plus no milk. 3. Grass - around apartment and outdoor area was long and uncut and unwelcoming which limited access to outdoor area (plus no path to access outdoor seating) and grass was covered in fallen rotting fruit. 4. Internet - extremely poor internet. It was a mobile phone router/ modem connected to 3 network which was obviously in a blind spot as our phones on the same network had difficulty making phone calls. This necessitated constant contact with hosts which became intrusive and spoilt our stay. No internet meant no TV, no streaming services and no contact with family or being able to organise holiday activities. 5. Privacy - the curtains in most rooms had to remain closed as huge windows and outlook provided no privacy from host's family or neighbouring properties. 6. Too many "Don'ts" - don't wear shoes inside, don't eat or drink in bed, don't eat on leather lounge. Yet the basics that we paid for were not provided. We did not feel welcomed.

Proper signage so we don't get lost and start knocking on other properties

The quietness, very comfortable and well appointed. Loved the animal theme and the beautiful black horse in the stables.

Loved everything- one recommendation is a bowl for the sink as it’s rather large and needs a lot of water to even wash a few pots. Also washing glasses in a bowl means less chance of breakage

Kitchen could be better fitted out, maybe they've had things stolen from visitors but we had not many cooking utensils to use or be able to cook properly.

It was in the middle of nowhere but we were aware when we booked, it just made it difficult to get a taxi from the place we were going to and back to where we were staying.
