MayFair Hotel Maitama Abuja

I really enjoyed the breakfast and other meals I had at this hotel. There were different choices of food on the menu and I almost wanted to taste everything. My favourite was the Jollof Rice. If nothing at all, the food, the hotel location and the level of security in place will definitely bring me back here.

This hotel ticks all the boxes for me. I can't ask for more.

The breakfast was too disappointing! I stayed with my wife, but the hotel provided a complimentary breakfast for one person and demanded that I pay for the extra breakfast. The meals are expensive.

Payment system is BAD. They do not accept dollars lower than 100 so you can pay 75 dollar in cash. There conversion rate for booking.com customers is 15%higher. Even I paid in dollar and asked for balance in NIRA they charge me 15 percent extra. They said they can’t balance in dollars. Disappointed by the system.

The proximity to the he city centre and my meeting venue

Not tidy, needs urgent maintenance.

The people. Receptionists were friendly, respectful and helpful.

Other guests were disrespectful on the first night
