The Midlands Hotel

It was clean but the carpets smelt like cat urine.

The staff were unprofessional and uncommunicative. The noise from the other rooms was loud and raucous. It was more of a motel than a hotel. The 'restaurant' was non-existent.

Hygiene

There were no electricity, we used cold water 😫😫😫😫.... They said that they will use generator as a backup but they didn't do that..... We were very disappointed shame I don't wanna lie

The rooms are smelly that is an inaction that it wasn't used. They need to open to give fresh air daily.

I was very disappointed that the duvet had a stain (something had spilled) which was covered by the throw that was put over it. I saw it as I was removing the throw to sleep. My annoyance is that when the staff came to see-she was checking if rhe stain is wet- meaning i would have stained it myself! I asked her- why would I stain it and complain to her same night I has just arrived. The place itself it lovely- but I dont see myself going back- just left a very sour taste the response. Even though they changed the linen, i wish they just did without inferring i could be responsible as I was not.
