The Bliss Homestay

Niranjala's place was a wonderful, comfortable homestay. We loved everything about this place. The peaceful surroundings, the amazing food, and the friendly host and her family. Niranjala presented us with tasty breakfasts and dinners and gave the best cooking class. She has promised to answer any whatsapp message if we need advice when we are home trying to replicate her amazing food. That's the type of host she is. A private little room in the hills of Ella. Couldn't ask for more.

A lovely homestay - Niranjala made us feel very welcome. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Amazing dinners & breakfasts! It was really nice to be 10 mins away from the hustle and bustle of Ella town, in the peaceful hills. Also very close to the start of the Ella Rock hike, which was ideal. Thank you so much.

Niranjala and her family are the most welcoming hosts we had in Sri Lanka. The property is extremely clean, quiet and cozy and offers great views. Further the homemade food was the BEST we had in Sri Lanka so far. We cannot understand prior comments regarding the location, as the property is easily accessible with only 3 min foot walk from a quiet road. Niranjala organized transport for us at all times.

We had a very comfortable stay at this family run home stay. We were greeted by the most wonderful hosts and had the bests breakfasts prepared for us each morning. The room was very large, clean and comfortable. The house is up in the hills with a wonderful feel of being in the jungle. A tuktuk trip is required to get into Ella town. Thank you again for the stay!

We had such a wonderful stay at Bliss! It is a beautiful homestay tucked away on the hill and away from the noisy town, surrounded by gorgeous & peaceful jungle. We had visits from monkeys and a giant squirrel right outside our room. The room itself was very clean and comfortable, with nice beds and a lovely terrace outside to sit and relax. This is a family run business, and we were welcomed so warmly and with such kindness. The hospitality was wonderful, and the home cooked meals were absolutely delicious. We truly loved everything! Thank you for the beautiful experience 🧡

We had such a great stay here. The hosts are just absolutely lovely and organized everything you ask them for. Her food is incredible too! It’s really good value for money. The little balcony area is very cute and feels like you are directly in the jungle.

Wonderful breakfast and lovely owner. The location is definitely rural and a long way out of Ella itself which may suit some people. The driveway is steep.

Incredibly hospitality and Niranjala is so helpful. Cooking class was fantastic with a very god teacher. We learn the basics of rice and curry dishes. When we sat down at the table, there we enjoy 7 incredible dishes. She Help us to arrange a trip to Secret Waterfall there we could take a fresh bath.
