The shower didn’t have that much power

Wonderful homestay in the calm and beautiful mountains of Ella! We can recommend 100% this cosy place with a great and tasty breakfast, cooked from the best, friendliest and most helpful host. We stayed 2 more days because we enjoyed it so much. Also a private cooking class was arranged only for us. We will come back for sure 😌

The hosting family was very welcoming, helpful but also very respectful for our privacy. Very peaceful location in the nature, not far from Ella center. Best breakfast I had in Sri Lanka, and the cleanest property ever.

Highly recommended. We stayed here for 3 nights, the facilities were comfortable. The owner is very friendly, hospitable and helpful. She went above and beyond to help us on a few issues we faced in Ella. The breakfast is good serving size and the views are calming and beautiful.

We arrived and loved the place and the family immediately. The room is separate from the main house, large clean and a fabulously comfortable bed. Breakfast is served when it suits you and is utterly delicious 😋 If you want to go into Ella a tuk tuk is arranged for you, and to get you back again. Also, great advise about things to do in the area. We loved it so much that we extended our stay by 2 nights. We were invited to the family new year celebrations and treated like royalty, what a privilege 👏

Nothing it is amazing

The facilities were so wonderful. It was simple, yet comfortable nestled in the hills. We really enjoyed how peaceful it was with trees and mountains to gaze out at. The highlight, though, was the kindness and care given to us by Niranjala and her family. They made sure we had everything we needed, and even provided a cooking class so we could learn how to make Sri Lankan dishes. We were so happy to spend a couple nights at Bliss Homestay. They really know what hospitality means.

The place was really clean and the bed was super comfy! The best thing about living here is the family ❤️ they were super warm and welcoming, they even invited us to attend a festival called Pera Hera. They took such good care of us and it was an unforgettable experience 🥹 breakfast was super scrumptious as well!!! They took care of all our transport, it was so convenient! Oh and it’s in close proximity to the famous Ella rock. If you’re looking for a nice and quaint place in Ella, with the kindest family, please do yourself a favour and stay with them. I highly recommend, definitely 11/10!!!!!😍🥰❤️

Water pressure in the bathroom can be improved slightly. Otherwise, all is great!!!

Outstanding hospitality and warm welcome from the whole family. The room was very comfortable with a lovely hot shower. The views over the private balcony were stunning and we enjoyed a very delicious breakfast and dinner there. There is just one room so you can be sure to have a very peaceful stay at the Bliss Homestay and to be very well looked after!

This homestay was sheer bliss like its name .It is run by an absolutely charming Sri Lankan family. It was the cleanest , most comfortable place we stayed in during our two weeks in Sri Lanka.The lady was so welcoming and just could not do enough for us. The bedding and towels were spotlessly clean and brand new-we were only the 14th people to have stayed there.The mattress and pillows were so comfortable.It is in a beautiful peaceful garden setting on a hillside with mountain views.As for the breakfast it was a feast of loveliness with fresh juice ,fresh fruit, omelette and -as we had requested a Sri Lankan breakfast- the lady very kindly made us coconut milk rice, coconut rotis , egg hoppers, a delicious onion relish ,Dahl and a spicy sambal . We didn’t want to leave
