Kandy Lotus Chalet

Our stay at this hotel was very pleasant. The room was clean and spacious, with a terrace and a beautiful view of nature. The breakfast was very good and the staff very friendly and helpful. Many thanks to Yomal for his availability and advice. I would recommend it 100%!

A bit far from the centre of Kandy, but not a big deal.

Everything is relatively new and not worn out. However, it seems that more emphasis was placed on design than on functionality. Jamal took great care of everything and was very diligent. We had a very delicious breakfast. The location away from the hustle and bustle of the city has both advantages and disadvantages. We would recommend the accommodation. However, one should be aware that you can't just quickly go to a restaurant and that you'll constantly need a tuk-tuk, which means a constant price negotiation. 500 is a good price to get to the city. The accommodation arranged a driver for a city tour for 3000. We also traveled with this driver through Dambulla and Sigiriya to Trincomalee (30000). He wanted to offer us a safari in Minneriya National Park for a lot of money (€150 per person). Apart from this inflated fantasy price, the elephants are encircled by jeeps and separated from the herd (Google reviews). And no, even though we said that we didn't want to do a city tour with a boat trip in this heavy rain, he suddenly stopped by the roadside, where a glossy brochure for exactly this activity was handed to us.

Modern and new accommodation. Everything was well maintained and clean. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. Had good tips for us. Our two rooms were part of a large, spacious apartment, which we were offered to use. However, it was a bit unusual for us that the staff was always in the apartment. The location is absolutely gorgeous, beautiful nature and with a great view

The access to the house is a bit difficult to find. The mattress in our room needed to be replaced, the odour was very unpleasant

Amazing property. Small and cozy. Very clean and comfortable. Nice view from the balcony. Staff are so prompt and helpful. Lovely experience.

The location is slightly away from city.. but if you have a car or tuktuk.. its fine.. worth every penny.

The place is great and clean. Not far from most attractions in Kandy. The staff is great, went above and beyond. Good value for money. I highly recommend it.

I am from UK, recently visited Kandy Lotus Chalet with my family and friends. We enjoyed a pleasant and calm atmosphere. The staff's hospitality was outstanding; they even catered to my favourite foods and provided excellent service. Overall, my experience was great!
