Kandy Lotus Chalet

I recently traveled to Kandy for official business and needed to stay for 2 to 3 weeks. I must say, this place exudes a positive ambiance. The caretakers, Yomal and Kapila, are exceptionally friendly and provide outstanding service to their guests. The view from the property is breathtaking; from the room, you can see the longest river in Sri Lanka, which is deeply intertwined with the country’s history and civilization. The owner of the property is incredibly kind and responsive, even answering calls at midnight and promptly addressing any requests. This is precisely how a hotel or stay property should value its guests. I also had the opportunity to converse with other guests from China and Portugal, who shared my sentiments. They left the property with happy faces and positive mindsets. This is the ideal place for tourists visiting Kandy. While it may initially seem far from the town due to the winding roads, this is merely an illusion. The town and all essential facilities are conveniently nearby. I wholeheartedly recommend this property without hesitation to anyone considering a stay in Kandy.

Everything they provided was excellent, always with happy and welcoming faces. Nothing to say about the cons.

Very kind people I really appreciate we arrived very late from long drive but they wait and let us invite this beutiful accommodation Special breakfast in the morning was wonderful Kitchen is open washing machine is available and price is good too! Quiet area close to nature.the staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, and common areas for working. We loved it so much we extended our stay.

A steep roads to get back to the city

it was super clean and looked very nice and neat. It was good value for money.

the breakfast needs improvement, and the twin room is a bit too cramped.

The villa was amazing for a family stay. Private, clean, amazing view from the balcony and super cozy. The homemade breakfast in the morning was top notch and just felt great.

I can’t think of a single thing I did not like about the property.

We were impressed witht he hospitality of the staff! Always there to help with any needs. The room and the bathrooms were very clean! We will come back for sure next time we visit Kandy!
