מתוחזק ברמה נמוכה מאוד, עם עמודי תמיכה בתוך החדר וריח לא נעים. מחיר ממש ממש לא הגיוני - אחרי ההזמנה ראיתי דרך אתר אחר (airbnb) את אותו המקום ב-800$ פחות!!! סכום מאוד משמעותי, אך בוקינג לא הסכימו להשוות לי את המחיר כי חלף הזמן של ״ביטול חינם״. בקיצור - לא ממליצה על המקום, ובטח לא דרך בוקינג

Outstanding staff; friendly, courteous, efficient and professional, it doesn't get any better than that! Grounds were immaculate and well maintained. There appears to be ongoing remodeling on the resort but we didin't here any of it from our room. Pool/hot tub area very small but there is access to the other resort. Our room had a W/D unit which was very convenient, but was loud but tolerable. Refrigerator has seen better days and will probably need to be replaced in the near future. Other than that, everything functioned like they were supposed.to. All in all, the centrally located KBV is well worth your stay on Kauai.

We enjoyed the location and proximity to the beach. We used the pools at the outrigger. We enjoyed having a patio to enjoy our breakfast. The beds were comfy.

Our couch had broken springs that made it uncomfortable in some spots. Our dishwasher seemed broken and the racks were rusted and chipping. after we called we were told we could still use it. We did and it started smelling of smoke. Some of the more hidden areas were not clean - spots on the ceiling, blue marks on the wall behind the bathroom door, etc. we had a missing door handle on the outside of the patio door, the closet doors were hard to open and close, some of the dresser drawers were not installed properly and were hard to open/close. There were only two small towel racks in the bathroom - we had more.than two towels to hang. It seems like each room needs a maintenance person to come through and fix small things. That would improve it greatly without a complete renovation.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful!! Sunrise on the beach was a 2 minute walk and absolutely beautiful

I think we got an older unit because our air conditioner didn’t work. It was hot and humid in the room. Thankfully the fans worked, but it still was hot. The cleanliness of the rooms weren’t the greatest. The show curtains had nasty stains, couches, and the floors. our shower went out of service and only did cold water so we had to call maintenance twice. After the second time we had no problems. Maintenance did respond quickly. We couldn’t swap out dirty towels for new ones we had to wash them ourselves. We were there for a week. you don’t necessarily want to do laundry on vacation. Overall definitely would find a different place to stay next time.

Older resort, but very clean and quiet. You also get access to the adjoining Outrigger property that has a great family pool with water slide and poolside bar and cafe.

The air conditioner in one of our rooms was not working

First let me say that the resort staff were wonderful. They were very helpful in recommending kid-friendly beaches and other activities for our family. The resort is also in a great, centrally located area to travel to various activities, restaurants and other parts of the island. Other than that, the facility itself (lodging) has seen better days and is shabby and falling into disrepair. Dirty and faded furniture, unpainted spackle on walls, pulls in the carpet etc. The couch was so gross that I didn’t want to sit on it. The diverter in one of the showers didn’t work and it was near impossible to take a shower with all the water coming out the tub faucet and flowing down the drain. The other bathroom had a shower repair with the wrong parts and the knobs were tricky, causing either scalding hot water or freezing cold water. The beach at the resort is not for swimming and the waters are treacherous. There is trash all over the beach, so it’s not even good to really walk it as you’re dodging trash. There is some construction going on at the resort and that is contributing to the trash— unforgivable on such a beautiful island. That said, there are good swimming beaches nearby and an excellent beach (Lydgate Beach) for the kiddos only about 3 miles away. The pool at the resort is very small — much too small for a resort of this size. However, there is some sort of cooperative agreement in place with the neighboring resort (a very short walk next door) that allows Beach Villa resort guests to use the neighboring resort pools. They are beautiful and well kept up. All of the Beach Villas guests used the neighboring resort pools and that pretty much saved us. In short, unless you’re just looking for a place to flop, I wouldn’t recommend this resort.
