City Center Hotel By Kasa

I wanted to like this motel so bad. Maybe the timing wasn't right or something. The aesthetics of this hotel are on point- very mid-century modern. Adorable courtyard and the attached restaurant was a vibe. But.... our rental car window got busted out on our last night here while parked on the street overnight. When we first got there, we came in an hour before check in and I just wanted to see if they could hold our luggage. I went to the front desk (was not greeted) where I said "Hello! I did the online check in thing but I don't know if it worked." Referring to the check in where they make you scan a photo of your license and ahead of time. I did it like 2 days prior... But I didn't get it out fast enough before the woman at the front desk said "Nope! You're room isn't ready yet." To have "Nope" be the first word I hear upon arrival wasn't my favorite but I brushed it off. Throughout the rest of our stay, we were greeted/acknowledged maybe a quarter of the time by staff, otherwise ignored as we walked through the lobby (which is the size of a room by the way which means we would walk within a few feet of the staff when leaving/entering). We were in the room directly next to the restaurant so we could hear everything including the set up and break down the restaurant did daily as well as the guests. Got woken up on a Saturday morning at like 8am because they were pressure washing the building from inside the courtyard even into the afternoon while we laid at the pool.

Great concept of checking in on phone and and getting codes to get in and out. Only thing I can say is that’s the bed was not that comfortable.

Las habitaciones son lindas, están renovadas. A pesar de tener un restaurante dentro del hotel, en la noche había silencio.

The property was so cute and retro! A modern vintage feel. I loved it . It was so clean and cozy.

The area didn’t feel safe, and there was no parking. I actually ended up getting a parking ticket. We had to wake up early just to move our car to void parking tickets.

Very nice hotel/motel. And reasonable prices too!

Super clean, new and surprisingly quiet. Going back for sure!!

At first we spent an hour driving around trying to find the facility. The documentation we were given with our confirmation showed you on third Street but you were really on the corner of third Street and Atlantic. We drove around the block about four different times trying to find a hotel. Family found it. Then when we spoke with Ray in the front lobby, who by the way, was very nice and very helpful, told her there was no parking. I told him I’d already driven around the block several times looking for a parking space and there were “none“. Ray was very helpful and helped us figure out a solution to the parking. You’re very lucky to have him for an employee he was calling and very helpful. Thank you.
