This was our Second stay at The Shepherds hut, just perfect… Very clean, everything you need. Close to the beach, We walked to Greencastle as well…

Place was gorgeous and just what I needed. The provided scones were fantastic, and there was even butter and milk in the fridge, with plenty of tea, coffee, and sugar all free too! Bed was enormously comfy, all facilities were great, and I was well taken care of. On the first day the electric tripped but I was very quickly taken care of and was shown how to reset it, but that was okay as it didn't happen again. Definitely recommend for a solo adventure to get some private time away, or for a quirky couple looking for something different!

The facilities were great, but I wasn't aware of an oven option. There was a portable electric hob in a cupboard so a similar device for more elaborate cooking would be perfect.

Lovely stay. A lot of thought had clearly gone into the property and its hosting. Nice location.

A very cosy and comfortable place to stay. Was just what we needed. Very clean , with everything we needed. The scones and milk and butter were a lovely touch. Located close to the beach for walks. Ideal touring base for hiking in the Mournes.
