Era Cruise Lan Ha Bay

Las instalaciones son excelentes. El tamaño de la habitación, la cama, la ducha, el jacuzzi, perfectos. También la terraza de arriba, muy disfrutable.

La comida es mediocre, algo que no esperarías con el precio que cobran. En la cena nos sirvieron un cordero gomoso, difícil de masticar. Poca variedad en el buffet. Postres solo un par de dulces y frutas. Mi pareja es celíaco, algo que avisamos con antelación. Apenas le cambiaron un plato de la cena (pollo en lugar de pescado empanado). Lo demás era todo igual y le decían que no coma el pan. Los empleados intentan ser atentos, pero te dicen a todo que sí aún cuando no entienden lo que les dijiste. La mayoría no habla inglés. Las actividades son un fiasco: la “pesca de calamar” es que te dan una caña sin carnada desde la borda y te dicen que esperes media hora, por supuesto no pasa nada. La “clase de pintura” es poner un sello en un papel. La “clase de cocina” es envolver cinco ingredientes en papel de arroz. El kayaking es lo único que vale la pena. El “swimming” ni se les ocurra! La bahía está totalmente contaminada y llena de aceite y basura de los barcos, algo que no te dicen. Pero lo más decepcionante es realmente la comida. Por el precio me pareció una vergüenza. Así como que te cobren hasta el agua y el café. En definitiva, por los paisajes y la experiencia, busquen un barco más barato.

I was asked to pay additional Dollers then I was committed by booking.com by giving reason of exchange fluctuation between VND and usd. I had lot of arguments on this issue and said when I got rate in usd and paying cash in usd then how does the fluctuation effect. The lady there was not ready to understand the simple thing.

Wir hatten das Glück die Perl Suite zu buchen, das größte Zimmer des Bootes, inklusive wunserschöner Terrasse. Die Mahlzeiten, das Personal uns das Program was geboten wurde war prima, es kam keine langeweile auf. Auch um unseren anschließenden Transfer auf die Insel Cat Ba, wurde sich gekümmert.

Es gab nichts.

The staff were amazing, and the dinner menu was delicious. Breakfast was not interesting

I booked the Presidential Room, which was situated directly next to the elevator, so all you could hear was the elevator alarm going off constantly. The aircon inside the room was terrible. I had to ask for a fan, which didn't make it better. They advertise the cruise as 3days/2nights 5 stars , and i paid 20 million Vietnamese Dong just for this accommodation. Sadly, I have to say that it was not worth the money, and I will definitely not come back to this boat again.

Great staff, confortable room.

Air conditioning broken, a generator boat was attached to our cruise generating a lot of diesel smoke.

All was good except dispite receiving WRITTEN advice that all meals were included in the price, on the day of arrival we were told that by Venus that we would need to pay an extra $150us for onboard food. Dispite showing Venus the written quote stating all meals included, Venus said that Booking.com had made the error and that I would have to be sorted the matter out with them. Venus checked with Booking.com but they refused to accept responsibility over the phone. Very poor Booking.com. I travelled all over Vietnam booking everthing I could with Booking.com. Do not use them as they do not honour their quotes. I will downgrade Booking.com where ever I can.

Loved it all but experience with Booking.com left a bad taste the whole trip.
