Good room and washroom. Especially the hot water system in bathroom

No RO drinkwater, no FAN, charged 600 LKR more than listed amount on booking.com

I booked online for $4.50. when I arrived the owner did not a honour my booking and tried charging me $9 . Tbh I think she did me a favour , the place looked neglected and run down , without even anywhere to park. BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK !!!

Host super kind, really big breakfast! Near to the center. Good choice for backpakers :)

All was okey.

The owner doesn't get the money if you pay by card in advance. So she has a problem with a local guy who manages the accounts. So please just choose paying with cash and everything will be fine. The breakfast is delicious and a lot, very cheap and the owner is extremely friendly. There is just a problem how I said and because of the language barrier...

The owner was amazing super helpful and knowledgeable, the location is perfect on the path for both Ella rock and 9 arch bridge and little Adam’s peak

The lady asked me to pay 600 roupies more than the price on the booking upon checking. It was very uncomfortable as I had nowhere else to go. Room is very humid

The best bathroom I've seen in a hostel. It was very clean, well maintained, with a great shower head.

Unfortunately my overall experience wasn't that good. It's true that I did a last minute booking, but still allowed for couple of hours before arriving. However, the lady had no clue about the booking. At the end, she said she has a bed available. On the website here it sais it is a private room, so this is quite misleading. She also charged me more for that bed, than what I had on my booking for the "private room". The pillow case was full of hair, so clearly the linen hadn't been changed after the last person using that bed. In the morning she was nowhere to be find, so breakfast was out of the question.

Is ok for one night you dont need more in the city of ella. The house can see the trains as is a few meters from the rail curious location

It says one room but it ended up being one bed… the facilities are not really good… there is no space between 2 beds and only one bathroom.
