Hello Super Hostel

It's a quaint little homestay that's run by this adorable old couple. The bedding is clean and comes with a mosquito net. They have a hot water shower in a shared bathroom that they keep very clean. They also offer a decent breakfast at a lower price comparable to what you'd get in the town. It's a great location right by the train tracks. It's a great spot if you want a chill place to lay your head as you explore Ella for most of the day. They also offer laundry services if you're keen.

The room for solo travelers is technically a twin room so you might have to share with another guest (hostel style). They do have double rooms (at a higher fee) if you'd prefer more privacy. There is no fan in the room but Ella is cool enough to sleep through the night.

Good location, right next to the train station although it’s pretty quiet. The owner is kind and helpful. The room is pretty basic but it’s cheap for private room. Perfect for budget travellers.

Would be better if the bedding is more cleaner. And there was dead insect on the mosquito net:(

The couple who runs this place is very humble and yet super kind, they help you with everything you need. She gives a very good breakfast, cheaper than the rest of the town (Ella is expensive compared to other places in Sri Lanka).

The room is small, so it suits best for a solo traveller.

It's a great location and price. Rooms are very simple but since the price is low (the lowest for my dates I could get in the centre of Ella for my dates without sharing a room with other guests) - then it worth it to stay. Hosts are friendly and helpful.

The property needs to be repaired

Great location. Right next to train track so can walk along it to the train station or over it and youre at all the restaurants/shops. The owners are an older couple and absolutely lovely! She also makes the best breakfast I've had in Sri Lanka so far! Decent price at 700rupees as well

The room walls had damp so it did smell. If you have asthma or a bad chest this isn't ideal.
