I booked for the wrong weekend but the staff made sure I was well taken care of. His English was great and answered all my questions. I didn’t eat breakfast because of the time I was leaving and they reduced my price. There was an adorable dog living there. If you have the time and good music, the location is a nice walk to the Sapa town and a healthy trek to Fansipan. It’s also super close to Cat Cat village. The bed was big but firm and there was a fan in the room.

No hand soap in the restroom. The bed is big but the room might be crowded with two people in there. Beyond coming back to kids playing in the downstairs living room, there’s not much interaction with the family that owns the place, but the staff is very friendly and talkative.

The people in the homestay are super friendly and helpfull! The location has a beautiful view and the bed was comfortabel! I would definitely recommend.

The homestay is quite far from sapa Town and the road was blocked. So getting to and from was a little bit hard and expensive, but I don't know how long the road is blocked, so this was just a temporary problem and also not their fault. They will help you get to and from. So you are not stuck:)

The view, service and quiet location is perfect. The food is delicious and such great value for money for a stay just outside of sapa. We were able to walk to and around cat cat village and Xin chai village, walking past rice fields, buffalo and all the local people working and living on the land. Also got to see fabric being made by hand downstairs and cute puppies.

Bed was a bit firm but room was cosy. Just a bit of adjustment with the mattress and we were good.

The host made this experience for us. Van worked so hard at this place and made sure we had everything we needed, we did a hiking tour with him that was also brilliant! We walked through local villages, went to the medicine baths, had lunch with a lovely family. Breakfast was included in price.

When we booked the home stay we were under the impression that we would be experiencing a home stay where there would be a little more interaction with the family living in the home, maybe meals together, or just sitting in the outside area by a fire etc. however it seemed quite secluded, most people stayed in rooms at night and we didn’t end up meeting any of the family other than hearing them downstairs. Van who seemed to be running the place had a lot of work on his hands and would have liked to see him have a little bit more support with running the home stay as it has potential to be really amazing! In terms of a place to stay, it was great however wasn’t the experience that we were hoping for although if you are looking for a great value room, somewhere a little further out, a great tour guide and breakfast and dinner then this is perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay. It’s a bit far away from the city but it’s worth it the view was very nice if you are looking to relax at the homestay. We were welcomed by the lady working there, she was very nice and spend time with her and even though she doesn’t speak English we used the translator to communicate and she was very helpful and polite. She made us feel like home.
