The staff was super kind and attentive

Our stay at Lanh Sapa Homestay was excellent! The host is super friendly and tries accommodate all of his guests wishes. When we arrived after a long trip he provided us with coffee and a few snacks. As well as that, he is very informed about all the activities of Sa Pa and even gave as a few tips about other places in Vietnam we are wanting to visit. In general, the atmosphere is super welcoming and familiar. We learned a lot about the Vietnamese culture and traditions, including the local foods, as we were served a fresh and home-cooked dinner every night. Both breakfast and dinner were amazing and some of the best meals we have tried in Vietnam so far! I can’t recommend this Homestay enough, anyone who wants to gain an insight into the Vietnamese lifestyle and meet some amazing people should book a few nights at Lanh Sapa Homestay!

Lanh Sapa Homestay is located a few kilometers outside of Sapa Town. So depending on your goals for your stay in Sapa, this might be a downside or not. To reach the center of Sapa Town you have to walk about 50 minutes uphill. Of course you don’t have to walk and can also rent a bike somewhere. For us, personally, the location was absolutely brilliant, as it is a nice little escape from the noise and chaos of Sapa Town. The nature is just wonderful and we felt it to be a much better decision to stay outside of Sapa and do a few trips to the town than the other way around. Furthermore, we did not mind the walk at all, as it’s a nice little hike through the mountains accompanied by a stunning scenery.

I had the honor of being the first guest at this place and I can just recommend it, staff is so friendly and always willing to help with anything, this place is located at a really beautiful in area with a lot of green hills and rice fields around, beautiful spots around like CatCat waterfalls, also next to a small grocery store and in a walking distance from Sa Pa
