Location, accommodation, friendly staff, clean , good breakfast and lunch and dinner. Lovely sunrise.

The best thing was the snorkeling which was 'walk in' from the beach in front of the hotel

A hot shower and another handbasin outside of the toilets would have been good.

A simple place to spend a relaxing, slow few days. Terrific reef snorkelling right off the beach (much easier to get to at high tides). Warm and friendly staff, strong coffee and tea available through the day and beer for purchase. (Surprisingly) the best wifi encountered in TL. Mosquito nets and coils seemed to do the job and bedding was fine. Loungers and hammocks by the beach - and sunrise on the doorstep. Drop toilets kept clean and odour-free and showers had warm water.

Food was solid but variable - much better when they were catering for a larger crowd. Lunch and dinner pricing a little on the high side. The roosters add life to the resort but provide an involuntary alarm!

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful beachside hotel on Atauro Island! The location is absolutely perfect - right on the beach with stunning views and easy access to the ocean. I was truly impressed by the hospitality of the entire team. A special thanks to Paul and Caroline who assisted with diving and snorkelling - both were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, and made the experience even more enjoyable. Caroline, in particular, deserves praise for her exceptional friendliness and warm energy. I’d also like to mention Saafy, who was always cheerful and helpful throughout the stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and unforgettable escape!

While one should not expect too much in such a remote and beautiful location, there are a few areas where some enhancements could make the stay even more comfortable - especially considering the growing number of tourists visiting Atauro. The beds could be made a bit more comfortable, and although air-conditioning is not essential, having it could help avoid any disruptions during the night. A pick-up service from the dock would also be a welcome addition, as walking with luggage on the rough road (though it’s only a 7–8 minute walk) is not very convenient. It may also be helpful to consider upgrading the current pit latrine to a wash system, as some guests may find it more comfortable. A small upgrade to the washroom area would also go a long way. Overall, these are just small suggestions that could make an already lovely experience even better.

Location, rooms were good

The owner was friendly, until I told him I was diving with Compass as I had already booked my Advanced diving course with them. He was quite unfriendly and unwelcoming after knowing this.

Small resort just a short walk from the Beloi boat ramp. Amazing staff who were very friendly and helpful. Delicious food and catered to vegetarian and dietary needs. Great location, right on the beach. Helped us organise a boat transfer to and from Dili The staff also helped us go to dinner at a different venue and helped get tuk tuks :)

Nothing, but the garden rooms are very basic The bungalows are more spacious and have their own showers.
