Beautiful place. With everything you need for a lovely stay. Homely feel. Tranquil outdoor space. My Daughter loved the tree swing. Close to great attractions.

"Lovely accommodating host in a cute cottage with good facilities and great location."

Cute and cosy lovely bedding loved all the little touches ie flowers bread milk jams kitchen roll. Toiletries in the bathroom. Outside space was great too.

Bessie May Cottage is a wonderful and charming property. We loved the location, the atmosphere and all the loving details such as fresh flowers from the garden in every room, fresh eggs and Prosecco in a well equipping kitchen, fluffy towels and super comfortable beds. Bessie May Cottage also has a beautiful garden where you can sit, relax and watch the chickens roam around. Ann is a wonderful and lovely host and we had a fantastic stay. K & T

"Traumhafter Aufenthalt für Familien"

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, toll gelegen im New Forest. Die Einrichtung ist so, wie man sich ein Bauernhaus in der Gegend vorstellt (Wichtig zu wissen: Duschen ist nur in der Badewanne möglich). Die Besitzerin Anne war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden hier noch einmal hinkommen.

"Bessie May a place to relax"

We arrived at beautiful Bessie May to a warm welcome from Anne. Telling us to just pop over if we needed anything, but we didn't because Anne had provided all the essentials plus more, home made Marmalade, quince Jelly, sour dough bread, milk and butter in the fridge. Location was perfect for us, plenty of outside space which was perfect for sitting, chatting and just generally chilling out. Thank you Anne. 😀.

We liked everything, no dislikes. A beautiful stay. The upstairs bedroom got really warm but that's because it was 30° outside and Anne had provided a fan to help.

"Wonderful, so relaxing."

Our stay at Bessie May was wonderful. The cottage is beautiful, it felt like home. The location is great, ideal for Beaulieu Motor Museum. On arrival we were greeted by Anne. She and her son Jack were the perfect hosts, making sure we had everything we needed, nothing was too much trouble. In the kitchen there was a fresh loaf, homemade preserves, milk, butter, freshly laid eggs from the lovely chickens and a bottle of fizz, what more could we ask for. We would highly recommend Bessie May and we would definitely stay again. Thank you both.
