Gorgeous, clean and well appointed cottage that exceeded expectations. Lovely details inc. homemade products. Anne was incredible thoughtful and helpful in accommodating a few requests for my twins birthday.

Only thing would have been an attached shower head, but had lovely bath! Everything else super great.

Fantastic cottage in a beautiful location with great access to the New Forest and the Beaulieu Estate. Anne met us, gave us loads of advice, and provided lovely treats like eggs, bread, and fizz on our arrival. The cottage is so homely, with plenty of room and great facilities. Would love to come back!

Anne was very welcoming and kind. There was a bottle of wine in the fridge, milk, fresh eggs from her hens, sourdough bread, butter, homemade jams and brownies. The property was lovely and warm, well equipped, easy to park. We would definitely go again!!

If you want somewhere to relax and unwind then Bessie May cottage is for you! During the day the only noise is the clucking of the chickens and at night they are replaced by the comforting hoot of a tawny owl. Anne, the owner is the most friendly welcoming lady I have met in years and only there if you need her, no hanging around or popping in unannounced haha! The cottage was warm, cosy, clean and welcoming, plus has ample off road parking and easy access to the New Forest which is what we look for in our accommodation. We were given fresh eggs, lovely bread, jams and milk on arrival, a nice touch and very appreciated. All in all a very happy Christmas stay!

A lovely cottage, in a great location, with a very gracious host. Plenty of space for a small family, with some nice touches like freshly laid eggs, homemade jam, and a bottle in the fridge!

Our only minor comment would be that the toaster was on the small side so took a while at breakfast!

We truly had a very pleasant and confortable stay. Spotless, well decorated and adorable cottage, idealy located to visit New Forest villages and landscape. Anne was so lovely. Brillant fresh eggs and homemade jam and cake.
