"Good option when going to Kyoto"

Great location, in a touristy area with lots of things to do around it. Bus stop right around the corner.

Room was a bit small but reasonable. Breakfast included (nice!) but nothing to write home about.

Really cute boutique hotel with a very decent breakfast. Rooms were large with a big bed which was a treat. Right in the gion district, which is very convenient for night walking tours and the nearby shrine.

It was about a 10min walk to the nearest train station which is quite a bit for a vacation with a lot of walking. In the end we didn’t mind. Area is full of cute bars & restaurants.

"Fantastic and wish we were still there"

It was in the Gion area. very close to the old street and the Geishas. I loved it at night. Easy to get around and get a taxi. Cool area

"we had a lovely time - we could walk all around the cultural district of Gion and get to a train station easy to travel"

The location was excellent- right in Gion but not in a loud part of the district- the restaurant on site was super helpful and the breakfast was great

As an American i thought the bathroom was very small and the rooms looked a little aged- but the location was ideal
