"It’s ok, nothing special, but it’s fair for the price you’re paying."

8.0

The location is not bad, just a 10 minute walk from the University of Manchester, which is a beautiful area to explore. There are also convenient bus options like the 197 and 192 that take you to the city center in about 15-20 minutes. The 192 runs every five minutes, so it’s super easy to catch. The flat was clean, and the owner is very responsive, always replying quickly to messages. The heating worked perfectly, and the flat stays nice and warm inside. We mostly used the flat just to eat dinner, drink a cup of tea and sleep, and it was perfect for that purpose.

There are really two things that could be improved: adding a small table, since the flat has a kitchen but no place to sit and eat, and fixing the bathroom door, as it doesn’t close properly (you need to use something to keep it shut). Other than that, the flat is great for friends or young people, but it’s probably not ideal for families with small children or elderly people. That said, it’s definitely in line with what you’re paying for. It’s true that the entrance door is often left open, and the flat’s door is just a standard one with a single key. However, this is pretty typical for many buildings you’ll find in Manchester.
