The Gemstone Manor

Die Unterkunft befindet sich an einer stark befahrenen Strasse. Daher recht laut. Aber um die Ecke liegt ein wunderschöner Park mit vielen Bäumen und Freizeitmöglichkeiten. Watford selbst ist eine schöne Stadt mit guter Verkehrsanbringung. Bahnhof und U-Bahn Station liegen in Gehweite. Mit der U-Bahn(Metropolitan Linie fährt man ca 40 Minuten zur Baker Street.

Der sogenannte Premium Single Room war ca.5 Quatratmeter groß. Ohne Schrank, kein Tisch oder Stuhl. Es gab nur eine kleine Luke im Fenster die man öffnen konnte. Das Zimmer war eingequetscht zwischen Küche und Toilette. Toilette war eine Gemeinschaftstoilette und wurde auch Nachts viel benutzt. Es wurden oft die Türen zugeschlagen. Guter Nachtschlaf war nicht gegeben.

Location

Room was nice, and the house was really great. The garden in the back was beautiful, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, very close to the bus and train station. Good internet. Cameras for safety also a plus !

Washing machine usage could have been included. The room key was a little difficult to work sometimes.

I did not stay there for more than 15 mins

I had booked for 5 nights for myself and also booked one more room for my colleague for 4 nights. I was promised an attached washroom. As i reached there on 19th April , I was dejected to see 1 washroom for 4 rooms .I tried contacting through whatsapp but i was said that there is no private washroom. I immediately left the place and arranged a hotel room near the Highstreet market. Various hotels like Travel Lodge and Best Western were having similar rates or lesser than I paid (in advance) in Gemstone Manor, the hotels had bigger room with private Washroom. The hotel also had breakfast and dining facilities within. Plus very close to Market. I had requested to cut 1day or 2 days of stay and refund me my 3 nights stay and my colleague 2 nights stay money. I was not refunded. I paid for 5 nights & my colleague form 4 nights for being there for 15 mins. I am really disappointed as I had to spend again for my stay at a different Hotel. I request some consideration from your end.
