Kitchen and location

The property is walking distance to the town centre. The kitchen was great to cook meals. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and very clean.

The bed was slightly uncomfortable. Breakfast options were limited.

Location. Nice garden. Decent size room.

No fans in the room for hot weather. Having to remove shoes as no shoe rule although oldish carpets. Pain on carpet in room for example. Stains on carpets. Creaky floors and stairs (out late one night during stay and felt like we were disturbing other guests) Other guests not drying and putting away dishes. Camera in kitchen. (Made us to feel watched) Some Other guests not cleaning the hob or worktops after preparing/ making food. Kitchen utensils, cutlery and crockery difficult to find on first night.

Nothing

In the room I stayed in, the big bed was gloriously comfortable, the shower was always nice and hot and it was a generally peaceful place. I liked the "no shoes in the house" rules. I liked the parking although the property is on a busy road with plenty of traffic but near the shopping mall in Watford.

The shower downstair does not have a cubicle so you shower standing next to a toilet bowl.

The other people staying there was really lovely.

There is mould in the small bathroom, in the kitchen! And my draws all smelt mouldy and I didn’t even want to put my things in the draws. The sheets have stains on them. And there was cobwebs hanging from my ceiling. The parking was actually really bad, there is a lamppost right in the middle of the driveway. The wall paint is peeling in the big bathroom. And mirror in the big bathroom is so rusty. The blinds let every single bit of light in, even when shut. The curtain didn’t even fit over the window, so people could look in.
