Merzouga Luxury Tented Camp

WE WERE NOT TAKEN CARE OF by this company Despite of we have paid for more than 880 Euros. (more than 8000 Moroccan dirhams. So I cannot answer this. They sent us to another company.

I have a complaint about our tents. This is my last message (after more than 4 messages) to them but received no response what so ever!! We have arrived at approx 7.45pm on the 15th of APril 2025. Signed a paper etc and waiting for about 1 hour before they moved us to another tents (palmyra) then another waiting game for about 3.5hours!! Ended up they gave my son an awful, smelly and unfinished tent. My son and his wife were not happy and neither did we. We finally got them slept in our tent together. 2 couples in one tents. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!! We paid for 2 luxury tents! SO I WANT my money back for the 1st nite on tent 2. ALSO, we are now at Palmyra tents. It’s a different arrangement! I am requesting a refund of at least 25-50% of what I have paid. but get NO response from this company! I have contacted Booking.com and they cannot help me either.

Spacious, clean, well-kept room. Attentive service. Fun Berber drumming after dinner. Dinner was good but nothing notable. Honestly, most of these camps seem to be in similar locations - at the edges of the dunes. Overthought this while trying to book, so just pick one! Happy to have made this choice.

The tents were big, nicely decorated and clean. We were greeted by kind and accommodating staff who prepared snacks and tea. We came too late in the evening so we couldnt take a camel ride, however they kindly compensated us with a sunrise trip with camels. The diner and lunch were delicious and the portions were big (you need to pay 15eur pp for it).

Watch out for additional costs - 25eur pp for drive to tent and back, 15eur for each meal. We stayed two nights and staff were a bit uncoordinated about which day activities they offer. We ended up not doing any trips but enjoyed the dunes ourselves and it turned out great.

It was of course a great location. Staff were outstanding. Breakfast was great and dinner excellent. Camels were great.

Beds were a bit hard.

Magical.. we leave with the best memories of our trip, in the desert 🌞🫶🏻 The tent exceeded our expectations in terms of cleanness, tasteful, comfort! The staff, the landscapes and activities proposed were amazing. We definitely recommend anyone to stay more than one night to enjoy this unique location and scenery.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The song and dance after dinner was amazing, and the ATV trip in the morning to see the sunrise was just exceptional.

Given the location, it was a surprise that we were asked to pay €15/ person for a very mediocre dinner, and the bottles of water cost extra as well. The 4x4 trip for 3 hours was definitely not worth €100.

Everything about the property was awesome! The rooms were huge and comfortable with a classic and chic design. The dinners were terrific, and the breakfast was also delicious and plentiful. The staff great and fun and entertained us at night in front of a fire, under the stars, with music and dancing. Ayoub & Ali were awesome and made sure we had everything we needed. They were also very funny. We did three tours, a camel ride at Sunset with Mustafa, a day tour with jeep around the desert, to nomadic tribes, and looking for fossils with Yousef, and an hour ATV ride around the Dunes with Ibrahim. I highly recommend doing those things if you have the time. We stayed two nights, and we were so grateful that we did! We got to see two beautiful sunrises, an amazing sunset, and we had plenty of time to go sand boarding and take photos and explore the dunes. We loved our stay!! it has been our favorite part of Morocco. Highly recommend!
