Hostal Santa Marta

Great location in La Union, never far from anywhere you want to go. Martha (Owner) was really friendly and helpful, went above and beyond to help with things I needed (borrowed an iron, let me use a tablet for Nicaraguan form and gave constant good food recommendations)

Rooms super hot, the sheet I was given wasn’t clean but the room was too hot to use it. Some kind of AC in the room, but wasn’t turned on and fan just blew hot air, really tough to sleep. Shower curtain also not long enough so water goes

The location and the owner were really nice

There were no dorms only single or double beds available. It was really warm and the fan was very noisy.

The lady, presumably the person running the place, was very nice. Also the water temperature was good.

The room was extremely tiny, basically just a bed and not even space for our bags. But the worst thing was the heat. It was so hot, i barely slept that night. There was no proper window to let in fresh air, and the fan did basically nothing. There was an AC in the room, but to turn it on, they wanted us to pay 15 dollars, which is just outright crazy.

The staff are super friendly and helpful!! A private room is really well priced. The hostal is close to the main square and Main Street

No air con in the room so can get a bit hot but the fan is pretty good. Super early check out time!! But they are really chilled about you leaving bags and using the property after the checkout
