Villa Emerald Ella

La struttura è chiusa per lavori, abbiamo dovuto soggiornare ad un hotel vicino (Lakshmis Hotel). Ma abbiamo scoperto il tutto alle 19:30 di ieri sera, il padrone non ha provveduto ad avvisarci. E anzi, quando lo abbiamo contattato, ci ha detto che lui non si prende alcuna responsabilità.

Das Frühstück war lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Die Unterkunft ist oben auf einem Berg, leider wird gerade renoviert, d. h. 8 Stunden Baustellenlärm und keine Möglichkeit den Balkon zu nutzen, weshalb wir diese Unterkunft gewählt hatten. Die Teppichböden waren nicht so unser Ding. Wir waren die letzten Gäste, bevor sie wegen der Renovierung komplett geschlossen wird, danach ist es sicher besser! Auf Nachfrage hat man uns etwas Nachlass gegeben.

Een fijn en schoon hotel met zeer aardige en hulpvaardige medewerkers. Met een kleine steile wandeling van 5 - 10 min vanaf de hoofdstraat ben je er zo. Ook ‘s avonds voelden wij (moeder en dochter 16 jaar) ons veilig. Er was geen kluisje, iets wat wij altijd fijn vinden. Maar ik denk niet dat het nodig is. Ik zou er zo weer heen gaan.

Met bagage omhoog lopen is wat zwaar. Gelukkig is daar een tuk tuk voor.

Heel aangenaam verblijf met eigen terras en mooi uitzicht, vlakbij het centrum en toch heel rustig. Heel lief jong koppel dat de zaak runt. We kregen een super uitgebreid en mega lekker ontbijt en als we de laatste dag heel vroeg de trein naar Kandy moesten nemen kregen we een picknick mee. Aanrader. Let wel, je moet fit zijn want het is een hele steile wandeling om er te geraken. Naar beneden wandelen is leuker haha. En neem s' avonds een lichtje mee want op sommige stukken van de weg ernaartoe is het donker.

The place was beautiful and high upon a hill, very close to town and station. The guy who served us was very nice and obliging. Breakfast was great, especially the pancakes.

The balcony was being repaired, so we couldn't use it.😢

The view was serene, with a rooftop amazing views helpful owner channa. He arrange tasty breakfast and ella day tour.would definitely recommended this place for family ,couples and solo travellers ..

This was a beautiful spot with only a couple of rooms , but more are on the way. It is above ella,so you have a little more open space . It was a simple room that meets the basic needs.the host was willing to help with anything that was needed . The breakfast was exellent and delicious , with fruits ,eggs,pancakes and more the room had a small balcony off it which was nice to watch birds from.The host was helpful , friendly ,and kind

The view from the window was breathtaking and saved our stay,because we hit a cyclone and spent the day at the villa emerald. Super helpful owner, delicious and filling breakfast.

My heart is bleeding to give such a rating because the staff on the ground is very lovely, but faking reviews is something that the travel community should not accept. It’s clear that management/ owner gave this place many 10 ratings (which is clear by same typos and errors in writing by many people from different countries). Was also noted by another traveler below. In general, it’s a decent place but with the fake reviews they made it to a 9,2 when I booked which it clearly is not. Breakfast and view and indeed quite good
