Staff and location

The bed and the pillow. The bed was super comfortable. Though the hotel was in a very old heritage building , the room was super clean .The toilets and the toiletries were enough. Nothing to complain about. The breakfast buffet though not elaborate was sufficient.

The location was in a crowded old spice market. But not the fault of the hotel.

Staff called and warned of possibility of water seepage during heavy rains only a week before the date of stay giving us no option as other places were already sold out. On a positive note, they arranged a room with less chance of said issue when i informed that my wife is pregnant. Lack of parking attitude of the reception staff was not very pleasing. Meanwhile some staff were polite

The property was very well maintained for an old historical house and had gorgeous views from the pier. We had a great experience at the restaurant particularly with the kitchen staff. Abhijith was exceptionally friendly and super helpful with everything we needed.

The location of the pool with the dining area combined was not ideal as there was very little privacy for swimming (felt like people could watch us swim while they’re eating). The pictures of the hotel online did not give a clear view of what the pool looked like.

Food is not great at the property. All the non vegetarian food items we ordered had frozen meat including sea food which is disappointing considering the property is located in near the beach/back water..
